Dec 17, 2017 Hello Nick / AKAI, In relation to the issue above, I was wondering how it works on an iPad Pro 2018 (11 inch), which comes with a USB-C port (instead of a lightning port, where one needed to connect an Apple Camera Connection Kit AND a USB powered hub to, apparently to make the Akai MPK mini work with any iPad). Connect the USB cable to your Audio or MIDI device first. Next, connect the other end of the USB cable to the iPad Camera Connection Kit adapter. Last, connect the Camera Connection Kit adapter (with the USB cable already attached) to the 30-pin port on the bottom of your iPad. Wait 10 seconds. Garageband cc mapping.
